kerosene is how ppl heat their living spaces here. its just an experiment. although, my electric heater is running at max and during the, outside, night hours, its pretty cold, causing the temp to fall to about 25 degrees C, 75degrees F, . I don't know how much that affects the plant, so thought it may keep the temp stable during that time. I work at home. I literally go into the grow room on an hourly basis. maybe I'm just wasting my time/effort...???

well if you can get to your plants hourly you wont be wasting your time, but you still dont know how much co2 is in the air when u open the valve(probably still better then nothing). the only problem is what about when your sleeping? if your flowering them and you have the light off at night then the plants dont need the co2 while you sleep

Ive been told by many people that unless you have a tank or propane/kerosene co2 producer, then it is pretty pointless. The amount of bottles you'd need to fill a moderately sized growroom would be to high to make these practical. I could be wrong but according to my dad im not. (hes a doctor, but majored in physics and bio science also)

i think your right, you really do need it to be regulated especially with leaking. i was going to use the piss bottle for a bookcase setup(2' x 3' x 3')

thanks for your input guys. I'll continue doing it, as an experiment, without any expectations. if I find a more viable option I can always switch later, although, I doubt any will present themselves. as a bedroom, its very small. as a growroom, its probably moderate in size. my whole setup is limited and quite moderate. if you're interested, look at my grow journal. 1st GROW

and photo album, link in signature.
+rep to you guys for your replies.
for my 2nd grow, I plan to have twice the number of light, or, hopefully, better lights. twice the number of plants, but at half the height, maybe around 12-16 in. all things being the same.
