i know we all hear " TAKE A CLONE AND SEX PLANT EARLY"

so what is the down of sexing in 12/12 and bringing the best girls (moms) back into veg as soon as showing there sex ?

because it will take 4-8 weeks for it to revert back to veg. that whole time, the plant will not grow at all, and if you flower after that, there's a high chance that all of your confirmed females will herm on you.

i take clones from all my plants, label them, and when i flower the original, i know what clones are what, and make moms out of the females, and any choice males.

I'm not sure this is true, now I am new to this whole thing. But I took clones on week3 of flower, its week5 and im already seeing new growth on EVERY cutting I took.

KP nailed it right on and taking clones from a flowering plant is always bad and shopuld only be done for an emergency mom

i want to put these into flower on day 30

very lucky to have this from bag seed and do want to try and take one female back into veg.

so worst case i will have to wait 4-5 weeks to take clones of her from returning to veg

this is practice grow , but learning for next grow (PAPAYA , N LIGHTS)

night, day, what's it matter

what i would do, is flower your plants on schedule, as soon as you confirm your choice female, take two cuttings; the lowest branches on the plant.

you cuttings will root well, due to flower ferts (phos promotes root growth) and you can make a mom out of one, veg the other for the next flower cycle.

first time cloning, within hours they are standing and looking good

using schultz rooting powder and rockwool, covered with 2ltr bottle over each
