My First Grow is not Kind on my Lungs

Put some lettuce leafs into your jars and replace them every day with new ones until your bud has become less harsh again and not so dry.
Its burning you as its so dry it burns to hot,you just need to add some moisture.
The buds absorb it back out of the lettuce leaves without causing taint.
Do not forget to remove them every day and replace until your happy with the texture and burn

i dont know how to make it any smoother, but from the way you describe it, i am leaning toward it being a strain related issue... it could possibly just be some "choke smoke" as my buddies used to call it.... some weed just seems to expand in your lungs making you cough your ass off.... i only say this b/c you said it makes you cough like crazy, not that it burns your throat.... in my experience, overdried bud burns your throat, not make you go into a coughing fit.... but i am frequently wrong..
