when using a cool tube do I

A- Blow the air onto the bulb, or suck it from the bulb

B- If im sucking it from the bulb do I suck cold air from out side the room or do I suck air from inside the room? ( when I say room I mean small wardrobe)

suck cool air from inside, around the tube, and then out... air from outside may be too moist...

if you suck from out side the room and go straight through air tight then that air will be odorless and can just be dumped anywhere, but if you pull it from inside the room you are going to have to deal with odor

like i say its not a room, its a stealth wordrobe in a room. So I think i will go for sucking the air past the bulb with the air coming from inside the wardrobe as I will have the smee=ll issue to deal with, can I fit a filter anywere on the extraction pipe? or does it have to be on one specific end?

where is the air going after you pull it from the cooltube?

it will be going into my attic, on that not I suppose i dont really need a filter do i?

if you tie it directly to a vent going out the roof then you will not likely need to and you may be ok without even if its not direct but your chances are higher that you will, and being prepared for having to tie it in directly is the best.

I have no vents on the roof no, Im not planning on big girlies just aroun 2-3 foot so hopefull ther wont be much smell anyway but we'll see...............would it be safer to use a filter then?

ya man cause that air is going to have to go somewhere, its not like you can compress it into your attic, its going to come out somewhere.

My old 600w cooltube setup in my flower room, with the fan sucking through the carbon filter and blowing past the bulb, got a different air cooled reflector now.



And my new first stage veg room, with a 250w and the fan on top of the tent sucking through the carbon filter/cooltube.







In my tests i done i found it made no difference sucking or blowing air past the bulb.
