Ive just transfered my plants to soil and the pucks definatly make things easy as to not touch the plant.

Say you planted directly into the peat pellets and several of them did not germinate, if I were to dig out the dud seeds and rehydrate the pellets, would they be reuseable do you think?

glad you made this thread, i was about to do the same for my LR2 grow.

but my question is, can you use a jiffy plug as a medium in a hydroponic system? meaning can i grow a seed in it , than stick it in a netpot with claypellets in a hydro setup ?

is this possible because of the soil part of jiffy , will it clog anything up ?

would the jiffy pucks work for cloning? i couldnt find any rockwool cubes and my hydro store was all sold out of them so i got the jiffy pucks instead hoping they will work for the cuttings

If you had a drip system for your hydro that drained or dripped back into your res, I'd say that the Jiffy mud would get into the res and could clog your pump unless you had a pump filter bag or the particles were too small once mixed in to your solution. I have seen pump filter bags at various online hydro stores.

Just the same as ordinary soil, rockwool or Root Cubes. Make sure that you soak them in PH'd solution with a little rooting solution added. Let them absorb as much water as they can and then drain off the rest. Insert your clones just like you would in rockwool.

No nutes until plant has 4 or 5 nodes.
