Hey, my friend is growing and I am interested so i took pics of it and am recording a journal of it since he is new to growing. Any advice would be appreciated. He has 2 x 26 watt CFL(warm) and 2 x 26 watt(Sunlight). He wants to flower soon because of time constraints but are they too young to flower? Can anybody guess on how much they will yield(assuming their female) Any help would be great thanks!

Your plants look well! I would wait a few more weeks for those young plants. If time is a problem then maybe you could get a nice one hitter from them. Thats if they are girls.

Thanks for the reply man I appreciate it! Yea I heard they grow like at least another foot during flowering so would they produce an 1/8th a plant you think(again assuming their females)? Also, what good are males? If they were males wouldnt they just produce shwag?

Hey, I got some more pics. I hope they peak someones interest. They are a couple days into flowering, meaning 12/12 light schedule and 2 warm CFLs instead of the Sunlight CFLs.(again due to his time constraints). Im guessing female but its prolly to soon to tell. Maybe somebody with more experience could give me some advice or take an educated guess at what sex they are! The left definitely looks like a sativa and the right an indica. They are bagseed so Im not sure of anything really about them but they are looking good I think!

way to young i usually wait 6-8 weeks of veg before flowering with cfl's that is.

does that mean they won't produce any bud? b/c I heard they double in size during flowering?

No they are gonna grow until they are sexually mature just like a human we can have sex at 10 but do you think sprem will be available nope we have to wait until our bodies start that process but u can put them in 12/12 like i said from seed.

They will produce bud the amount is based on light,temps,food,root growth, and air circulation!!!

if you wait longer youll get more bud. simple as that. its not false, id agree, i wouldnt flower because id want more bud. good luck though, looks great for a first time especially
