Coffee grounds?
My cousin works for Starbucks and tells me he has a regular bassis of customers that pick up their used coffee grounds for planting. Is there any sense to this.....is it some sort of fertilizer, and does it actually contain valuable nutrients?
He tells me they come in all the time carying out bags of the stuff......

Coffee grounds are best used in a compost pile. worms love it and the high N helps break down the Carbon in the pile into good soil.

This proves my theory!

Growing up my parents always took thier grounds saved them and then tilled them into the outside garden soil.It gave the soil a boost attracted worms who aerated the soil and left casting enriiching the entire soil.Inside you d have to monitor the ph more though and you reap less benefits.
