I think the front screen should look as simple as this

I'm going to grow in soil

I'm going to grow in hydroponics

click one
soil
I'm growing indoors
I'm growing outdoors

and the menus increase from where you direct

good idea if the menu was still on the left. would be a bit of a drag if you were searchin for somethin specific and had to answer 99 questions first...

Considering the question of 24 hour veg or 18 hour veg has been debated on here ad infinitum, it's no surprise you can't find anything on it in the FAQ section

You make a good and valid point Nongreen, finding essential grow information on here I feel needs some updating. The concept of a 'cure all, cover all' FAQ is outmoded and only serves to make it very difficult to actually find the information you need.

No wonder then that so many newbies ask so many questions over and over

then there should be an option to search for specifics as well which there isnt
