I have had some problems with a few plants in this grow and the last grow(this is only my second grow). They looked like they had a ph problem or nute burn. Well, I have been ph'ing my water and have not been giving them much nutes. What could it be??? I am happy to say that I have found the problem. This weekend I bought a ph pen to more easily check my ph. Up untill now I have been using a kit for fish aquariums. It worked fine untill I started adding nutes to the water. The nutes made the solution appear that it needed ph up when it was actually at 6.8. Well I have been adding shit loads of ph up and a few of my plants got pretty sick as a result. I've probably been watering them with water ph'ed to 9.5 or 10 or more. So if any of you are having problems with your plants and you are using the the ph test kits that you add a few drops to the solution then check the color that it changed to to determine ph them, this may be your problem. I am happy to have this problem solved that I has been plagueing me for the last 2 months. I'll add some pics of the sick plants later.

I know this is an old thread
How were your plants looking? Because i think i may have the same problem. I need a better Ph tester. Were the yellowing (bottom first) and droopy because that is what happened to mine over the course of about 2 days. I have flushed her and readjusted the Ph to about 6.2. i do hope she recovers. I am thinking about cutting all the yellow and droopy leaves off. Bad idea?

let nature take its course. I just let mine turn yellow and fall off themselves. seriously the plant will cut it itself. you can brush your finger on a true "dead branch" and it will just fall off. If you have to pull it or snip, leave it a while longer.
It is ugly, but a shit load of things in nature are ugly. some pretty, but still some grotesque.
Im pretty sure, because I keep mine ladies short, that the bottom leaves are transferring their nutrients to the upper echelons for producing all of our favorite medicine. Mine have been in 12/12 for about oh... 2 weeks I think now, and this yellowing just appeared.
I dont think ph is really that big of a deal. As most growers think. Im growing two plants with no ph meter, no temp meter no humid meter, and no nutes besides molases. They look very good one of them has tichs all over and smells very tangy.
I let the water sit for 24 hours before i use it. Here the pics. You really dont need all that equipment to grow.
