Can you flower then turn back to veg to find out sex

I WAS WONDERING IF I CAN FLOWER THEM TILL THEY SHOW SEX THEN VEG AGAIN FOR A MONTH OR SO AND TURN BACK TO FLOWER TO WEED OUT THE MALES THE REASON I ASK IS THAT I STARTED TO FLOWER 7 DAYS AGO AND WHEN I FING OUT IF THERE MALE OR FEMALE CAN I TURN THEM BACK TO VEG? I HAVENT SEEN ANY FLOWERES YET THE PLANTS ARE ONLY 7-12 INCHES TALL

yes ...put them on 24/7 then 18/6 if u like.

so i can keep flowering them till they show male/females then back to 18/6 or 24/0?

yes 24/0 is best to change back to because it takes a little bit of time for it to go back to veg mode

ya, its not a problem.

if for some reason you didn't have clones or the next generation of seeded plants ready... you can even Finish flowering completely then cut the plants way back and send them back into vegatative mode for a second or even third harvest. The plants vedge out more quickly because the root system is already well established. Though i'm sure going for a new crop in the same area would be more productive and lead to less potential problems, especially if ur growing in containers and continue to use the same soil.
