PH'ing during flush

In hydro and dwc set-ups is it necessary to ph down the plain water during final flush stage?

As ph ing merely unlocks the plant's ability to absorb nute's it doesn't seem as though you would need to do it during flush.

Interested in what other people do.

i use ph'd never had any problems. i suppose it depends on the ph of your tap water. if its not to high i guess it should be ok. just thought if you need phd'd water for nute uptake you may need it to flush them out?

I'm not saying there's problems with phing when you do the final flush. It just doesn't seem necessary. The nutes in the plant are already being used, you can't flush those out.

Phing merely gets the feed to a level where the plants can take in the nutes, they'll still drink water regardless.
