OK, I just harvest 1/2 of my first grow (I've got 2 plants, just cut 1) All and all, I think it went well. I did run in to some problems, BUT I learned ALOT! Plus I got some pretty good looking weed. Well on to the pics, please remember this is my first grow and tell me what ya think... Thanks...

PS, any tips on drying/curing would be help full...

70 grams wet soon turns to 20 really fast.

CFL's all the way through. As far as nutes, f-ing Miracle Grow (if you cant tell, I dont like it). That's actually the 2 things I'll be changing. For my next grow I'll be using an HPS for the flowering phase and as far as soil/nutes, I'll be using ProMix organic with Fox Farm nutes....

harvested too early bro! those green hairs should be 80-90% amber. How long did you veg and flower. Good job on ur first tho

You shouldve waited an extra 3 weeks.That when they pack on the most weight.

Congrats man. I agree, you may have harvested a bit early (not months) but on the otherhand I'd still smoke that in an instant! If you want to be legit with the shit then get urself a 60-100x magnifier and check the color of the trichs. I'd go for cloudy myself but I'm a cerebral guy. If u wanna take the simple route just wait to harvest the other 1/2 till there are more red hairs in there.

Drying: Hang them upside down in a dark closet/space. Air circulation is important but don't put the fan directly on the plants or they'll dry out too quick. Keep the humidity between 45-55% and the temp between 65-75F. I'd do this for 2 weeks, you'll start getting all kinds of sweet, skunky, and or spicy smells coming from ur herb. When the stem snaps you can cure.

Curing: put them in a jar (glass is killa') and open/"burp" the jar at least 2x/day for like 10-15 minutes and rotate the buds. This removes excess moisture and prevents MOLD (ewww). GOOD LUCK!

I agree with ya. But, I had a problem that I couldn't fix. I either had a cal. dif or I was nute locked (or maybe it was something else). But, it had gotten to the point that almost all my leafs had fallen off, and the ones that were left were covered with rusty spots plus growth had stopped. So instead of waiting for the buds to start being effected I cut it. Like I said it's my first grow, so hopefully my next one will be better. What would you have done in my spot??? Here's a pic showing what I'm talking about.

I'm agreeing with all of ya. I just don't know what else I should have done. I wash there was an 800# I could call for growing pot. LOL Does anyone think I made the right move in this case???

Man you got some definite smokeable weed there. Im on my first grow and if I get weed Ill be happy. But yeah it was a bit early, but u obviously realise that. Just so you know its natural for your leaves to start dying off at the end. Not sure if this was your case, but yea keep it in mind next time...
