is it better 2 have a wide pot or is it better 2 b even in height or width

ok ok anywayz what im talkin bout is the pot size right now if i use say the trays u get for like three planters wut most ppl call a planter there wide but short in the height of the pot anywayz my question is if i use a wider pot id get a better harvest right as the roots expand outward when in flowering any info on this would b appreciated thanks again

7 gallon or 5 gallon tall pot work good
