Ok here we go. (by the way im a 5 right now on the high scale but am slowly asending to ten as I write this)

i already bought this just waiting for it to ship. Its a 3 ft parabolic reflector where the bulb is install vertically.

Do these things do well? I hope so I did parcially by it cuz it looked cool

please tell me you opinions guys because they are valued. Also there is no thread dealing with parabolic type reflectors. Thanks

Jorge in the new dvd says this is the least effective and try to avoid it.

Horzinal is better and the one you got will work. I had to make mine out of wood and yours is bettre than mine I think. Mine works to.

I'm learning all mine the hard way to. I think it's the pot head way.

so you made yourself a parabolic reflector out of wood? you should post pics. Funny this is that its out of stock where I orderedit from so he offered me the Heat Buster reflector instead. should I get that instead?

Jorge Cervantes is one of the leaders and I just watched one of his new DVD movies and that hood was in it.

The heat buster is very popular on this forum go look at some of the grow journals

I just quickly watched that part when his talking about reflective hoods. He said - its not the most effective hood, but spreads light very evenly and is an excellent reflector for veg growth.

I love that DVD definitely worth the download if your a newbie or even for the intermediate who just want quick refresher course on things.

which of the two reflectors are you talking about the parabolic reflector?

what about the other one?
