What did you think of marijuana as a kid?

After reading of jacksonthrees post i was reminded of all the anti marijuana commercials as a kid and how wrong they are. When i was around under 10 years old i thought marijuana was a drug and drugs are bad. I didnt know marijuana was a plant and saw it as something as harmfull as crack or heroin. Today i have to laugh when they show what a joint looks like, both ends kind of twisted and pinched together as shown in my own little anti drug drawing:

When I was a child I was given the impression marijuana was like all the other drugs. Eventually you would end up dead from a over dose. Thats Funny

i always thought it was bad. everyone used to tell me it would kill me if i was to try it. but i guess they were wrong =] i love it. People these days are stressin too much, they just need to chill aand smoke. really ease there mind.

I always thought you would be an outcast.

When dealing with the goverment and you lie on a peice of paper like va benifiets or disability it's over no matter what even if it was a mistake. Lieing is their cardinal rule for us. The double standard is they very seldom tell us the truth.

I always thought it was the stuff that grew in the ditch outside of town. I would ride my bike out and bring a bunch back in a big black garbage bag and hang it in my fort. My older cousin (13 years old) new what it looked like so it was a good way to kill an afternoon. I honestly don’t remember what we did with it after that……

lol true story:
When I was nine I found about 5lbs near a freeway and turned it into the cops. dammit.

my dad always told me "son, marijuana is a gateway drug. its not that its bad for you, but it can lead to other things that are." I never really believed him, especially after finding his "stash"

i thought it was baddd, at least thats what my d.a.r.e officer taught me. i think the reason why i believed him then was the large amount of pizza and soda they bribed me with at the pizza parties. i fukkin love pizza.......and bong rips now haha.
