I have a xxx420 plant growing in my room. It's been flowering for about 8 weeks now, maybe more, but the yeild isn't what i expected. I'm broke so i didn't have the proper lighting materials, or hi tech cabinets. I had good nutrients though, but the yeild still isn't too impressive. All well, i still got sumtin goin. The buds so far are small and popcorn like. They are currently at the top. They have red hairs, and milky thc glands. I don't know if i should harvest them now, or wait longer to see if they can get bigger. I could remove them now and get more light to the bottom of the plant, cuz i headr the lower buds get even bigger. Should i harvest the top now or give it a few more weeks? Shit is small but looks real good!!!

If they are ripe then harvest.

Proper lighting and ventilation are key to a good harvest. The reason you didn't get the harvest you wanted was because of the insufficient lighting, conditions, and just experience.

Once you get a couple of grows under your belt and you get the proper supplies, your yeild will begin to increase and the buds will get better and better..

And as said before, if the buds are ripe, then harvest. If they are not ready yet, let them go.

Ok, cool. Yeah, it is definately due to lack of equipment. I got a flurecsent bulb, and some milar foil arround 2 sides of the plant in a corner in my room. I was giving it good nutes, but then my fan leaves started to die so I figured I wa overdoing it. I flushed it and now I am just giving it BIG BUD. I'm broke, but I try. Ed Rosenthals books help immensley. I think I' gonna harvest just the tippy tp tomorrow, and see what's up and get the bottom flowers more light. I'll have pics posted soon.
