Get as many as you can. Like if you can afford 25 then do it lol. But even like 3 or 4 more will be ok. Then again if you can afford 25 then you can get a 400w hps for like 90 bucks online or a 250w for like 70 i think.

Instead, i got a 24 inch 75 watt grow bulb for 10 bucks from wal mart. I set it next to my plant to get the sides of it. I rotate my plant 5 inches every morning so the other side can get light. I hope this works better, this is really all i can do. Considering it's just one plant, next to my bed, and i'm broke. Lol! I would get 25 lights, or something, but i don't know if my wife would like that 8 am wake up call when my digital light timer kicks on!!! Lol! I mean my plant is right next to my pillow, lol! I'll have pics posted soon, just don't make fun of me u proffesional green thumbs!!!!

BUY YEAH, THIS WAS GROWN WITH A 30W ECO FRIENDLY LIGHT BULB, VERY STRETCHED AND TOP HEAVY, BUT HEY, I'M BROKE, AND IT'S BY MY BED, AND I'M LEARNING. I'VE BEEN READING ON HOW TO GROW WEED FOR YEARS, I HAVE ALL THE ED ROSENTHAL BOOKS, BUT I GUESS U WON'T REALLY KNOW UNTIL U TRY IT. CHECK IT OUT, AND MAYBE U CAN HELP ME. I JUST PUT THIS WAL MART GROW LIGHT TO THE SIDE OF IT BUT THESE WERE PICS TAKIN 2 WEEKS AGO BEFORE THAT. NOT MUCH IMPROVEMENT SINCE THE PICS WERE TAKIN, BUT HOPEFULLY THIS LIGHT WILL HELP. I'VE BEEN FLOWERING SINCE JUNE!!! STILL NO BIG BUDS!!!

the spiral ones i have a few 100watt lights

Ok. Yeah, i seen the 100w even 150w! Those are pretty pricey and i had trouble finding the right fixture. Instead i just got this 24 inch grow light from wal mart for like 10 ucks, already in a fixture. I mounted it on the wall next to my plant. So the 24 incher 75watt is on the side mounted on the wall, and up above is the 30 watt eco light, directly above, and a inch forward of the plant. I hope i get better production now.

Is the light kind of purple? If so, those are crap. You would have been better off getting 10 of the CFLs for the same price. They are not actually 75watts, they are equivelent to 75watts which is like 20watts.

If you can, get some CFLs instead. You can get sockets online for like $1 a piece, and just hook them up to an extnsion cord you modify. Growing on a budget sucks, but it can be done. If you can come up with $100, you can have something that will produce buds that are at least worth smoking.

Yeah, it is kinda crappy, but it works a little bit better with the light i already got. I'm hoping it shows a tiny bit more results.
