Below is some questions I cant answer but with your help I will be a happy camper. Since there is so many of us, just pick one question to answer. I will appreciate the help.

HOW MANY PLANTS?
WHAT SIZE POTS?
BEST WAY TO GET THE MOST YIELD( LST, SCROG, ETC)
GENERALL ADVICE?

six plants, ten inch pots(at least two gallons), with your height constraints I would top or lst. Your set up will be similar to mine in size and the same wattage. Check out my grow journal in the signature. Peace and Good Luck.

5 gallon pots
plain ole grow em out, no advanced techniques at all, maybe trim all the bottom 3rd of plant off so its basically growing the main and secondary colas only.
Go easy on the nutrients.

No drama how on earth are you going to fit 9 five gallon buckets in there? one five gallon bucket is at least l4 inches in diameter that would mean you would need at least 42" x 42".

unless you know of some small diameter 5 gallon pots that are really tall, if you do know nodrama please point me the direction of where I could get them because I would switch my next cycle.

5 gallon pots are a little big..but I bet they are not all the same in diameter.

In a small grow room, like mine what is the most I can plant?

I was thinking about 6/7 then cutting males out of the pack..leaving w.e else is there and then taking clones so i dont have to worry about seeds anymore

Just trying to get the best yield for the buck people..

9 plant hempy bucket scrog in 2g or 3g buckets.

use 2g grow bags, n for a 400w hps i would grow 6 plants. you could probably over do it with 9 but i would keep it to 6 that way theres no fighting over the light - everyone will get a nice heapin load of "sun" from that lamp. But the bags r the way to go. If i had seen the growbags before i bought my pots i woulda went with them ina heartbeat no doubt.

That's some nice equipment for a beginner. Judging by your questions .
Tents are great for growing but that is some small space your dealing with there. I wouldn't go more then 2-4 plants. 5 gallon pots your ladies will get way outta control. I would suggest 6-8" pots.

For example
12" height of pot
say 24" for the height of you plants
12" for you light and hood
6"X2 on top and bottom of light for adjusting

That's basically your 5' there. Not to mention you gonna have to vent that thing.
Don't be fooled by how much 1 plant can produce. You would be quite surprised!

3rd question is prob the most asked for obv reasons. Experience and patience. If you want to LST or Scrog I would go with 1 plant. Ideally then you can train it to your entire grow space. I would start with soil as it's easiest to maintain and doesn't require a huge time commitment.

General Advice. Just grow and watch. Take notes read forums, ask questions, post pictures. There is no defined method here anything and everything can work with the proper planning and effort remember that. DON'T over complicate it. That will only discourage you if it fails. That's the best experience is when you figure something out that works/doesn't work.
