i now have a 4 1/2ft length 4 1/2 ft height and 1ft 10 width closet setup with a 4ft shoplight that has 2 cool white tubes for veg. earlier i went out and bought some flat white wrapping paper and have now set it up around the walls. idk if this will work but hopefully ill get some results. i have grown 3 times before and each time got wicked airy buds. is there any way i could fix this? and for heat cause its kinda cold in there, i have an outdoor spotlight thats works great. what would be the best method of growing(SOG, SCROG, etc.) i i have a hydroponics system that works and flora series nutrients from general hydro, so either soil or hydro will work fine. i would probably like to grow in soil so i wanted to know if i could make my own soil ratio and use the nutrients? idk. any recipes?? also i have a 100w hps bulb, but no fixture or ballast. is there anyway i could make one?
any help is appreciated, thanks Last edited by jooooooosh1934; 09-20-2008 at 04:27 PM.. |

That shoplight won't give you enough light. That's why you have airy buds. I'd upgrade to at least some CFL's (like 8 of em) or get your HPS working. Check the DIY section for ballasts but your probably better off buying one. If your gonna do that i'd upgrade to at least a 250W.
Hope this helps.
