i would go with the cfls but invest in an hps if you can

i bought one of those 70W HPS security lights a while back. its working pretty nice with some CFL's on the side... but im trying to get a perpetual garden going. so i need a blue room for veg. and home depot has those high output CFL's for 1 for 50 bux. or a 100W MH for the same price. i dont know which one toget

mh and cfls both work pretty well for the veg stage(hps is for flowering). cfls is still my vote over mh.

cfls dont get very hot so you can have the light close to your plant with no worry of burning them

once you get to flowering the hps will make everything right as rain.

mmm id invest in another hps light unless you plan you use your cfls with your hps for flowering.
