unfortunately she cant let it dry out as it is sitting in a 40 litre res with an airstone this pic was taken when lights first come on it picks its leaves up through the day i will post a pic later.this is not of the haeding plant either first pic is mother .

as you can see from photo the roots have to stay wet.not to sure where she got this idea from as i dont grow like that but she hasnt had any problems so far, the mother is around 6 months old and supplied over 70 clones and as far as i can tell healthy would you still recomend letting it dry out?

why not throw a couple of seedlings into the mix, see how they look just like all other seedlings......boring......not worth postin a picture of..........sorry.....but it is the start of the outdoor season down in oz and its exciting.think i might go 100 this year.

Here's some more of some probably unwanted advice...get rid of the tin foil. It's not the best to use and can burn your plants. Other then that setup looks good...nice root system!

yeah thanks for some more unwanted advice can u see the burning all over the plant from that little bit of tinfoil........i mean that bit of foil must push temps up 20C lucky the house doesnt burn down....... LMAO.. dont believe everythin you read bro did you do the research into tinfoil or you read it in the george cervantes book like everyone else?how many degrees does it push up temps in a 6X6X6 growroom as opposed to mylar or panda or just plain walls runnin a 600 watt light?now b4 you answer or offer advice think if you have this experience and the realtime scenarios to back it up or dont bother....... my thoughts r if you havin drama with tinfoil burnin your plants ya have the lights to close tinfoil reflects poorly thats why i wouldnt use it once it gets crumpled its worse until its completely crumpled flat then its better again if i could get alfoil that didnt crumple i would use it everytime.....bare in mind the original study into allthis was done by the people who produced panda they could have had a wavy bit of foil up which reflects poorly and a nice taught piece of panda film up which would reflect good but if that panda wasnt tight it would reflect just as poorly as the wavy foil who knows i wasnt there for the test......but what i can tell you is you dont spend millions developing a product to market then do a test to prove there is already somethin on the market that is better.......i think if you could get foil that was flat and uncreased up on your walls the heat reflected would be negligible given you had proper ventalation in your room........anothr thought metal conducts heat better than plastic so wouldnt all that heat be conducting through the foil onto the outside? anyway the bottom line is i dont use foil my girlfriend doesnt use foil she has a little bit in her room to cover some roots but if i could i would and im sure she would to..........hows that for flyin into the wind bro .i can assure you when i need advice on how to grow dakka i will let u know......but im afraid to say if u cant do somethin as simple as grow a mull plant then theres not alot of hope in life for alot of things for that person and b4 you say wasnt you a newbie once i will answer,no i wasnt it was in my blood i didnt have to post on web sites i was growin b4 computers where invented once upon a time everyone knew but it has all been forgotten and now u have peanuts runnin around with two leaves on a stem under candles asking if they gonna get two pounds......it just feels like im bangin my head against a wall..........dont get disgruntled with my post after all its just my thoughts with a sprinkling of knowledge................its a big worry of mine watchin everyone fall into trends and so called first hand advice instead of choosin and learnin for themselves........everyone talks about globalisation and all that crap if you really give a crap then stop globalising your mind and think outside the square........after all dope was only made illegal to begin with cause nixon,s brother in law dupont had a new and inproved product ....plastic......and its only rival to strength was hemp.....nixon was on the phone immediately makin the big pot propaganda and b4 you knew it plastic was the in thing.....

why would i remove it? as long as you aren't insulting someone or being vulgar it's all good.

foil burns it with "light intensity" not heat. i've had it happen with mylar as well.

i've done my research, i know things.


i tested foil and mylar as well. i still need to test white paint. i think white paint is the best though from what i've tested in the field.

Ok...well we don't all know how old people are, and how much experience they have. A simple thanks but no thanks woulda been the best route to take...we are just here to help, and most people on here are complete newbies at growing...just didn't want to see you make a mistake and end up with crap at the end.

will these first 2 pictures stop you waving your stick of fire about?
as you can see i took the foil of and replacd it with cardboard and paper which i think might be soggy by the sarvo maybe 1 day i will make the trip and get a new lid for the res but until then i guess i will be taunted.as u can see everything around here is panda that piece of foil was not serving a reflective purpose it was a temporary lid to stop light getting to the roots on the mother.
