Landlord found my plants and wants them moved
|
|
Hey, my landlord approached me today and told me that my plants had to go, They are all about 5 - 6 weeks into flowering, and the farthest one has about 20% brown pistils on it. The other ones are pretty much all white. I don't have anywhere else indoors I can grow them, my only options I can think of take my plants outdoors and put them somewhere to finish growing for the last 2 weeks like in a clearing somewhere near me. But I don't know if that change from indoors to outdoors will harm them at all. That or I can try to convince my landlord to let me keep them for another week or so, then harvest them, probably slightly premature.

Tough situation. Sorry to hear about it. Fortunately, the timing is pretty good for moving a flowering indoor plant outdoors until harvest. Find a good spot and be careful.
Good growing and good luck.

Your landlord is being VERY cool about it. He's gotta be a toker. Your grow could cost the owner his property. Most LLs would just call the cops, and let them into your house.
Respect the dude and move the plants. It's just a part of the risks you took when you decided to grow in someone elses property. And it's the right thing to do.
Whether or not the move outside will affect them, I don't know. I woulodn't THINK so, but there are others here who are alot more qualified to answer that.

Pirate is correct. You should do as he asks and then get him something in ways of a thank you gift. You are putting him at great risk, and if that was his first reaction .. ULTRA KEWL GUY. The percentages say you wouldn't be posting your message but making your one phone call.
Good luck.
P.S. can't go wrong with a bottle of medium priced champagne, or a mason jar of harvested bud.
Good Luck.
out.

Yea he knows I smoke and I've smoked with him before, but will my plants be okay to move outside to somewhere discreet to leave? I live in easern Ontario, so it's not the warmest weather right now, I just don't want to move them outside only to have them die on me.

they'll be fine outside and it is easy too because all you should be feeding them is water right now anyways. Just find a safe spot and keep it at the same ph as you have been. Might need to water more often too!

Maybe an advanced grower will answer that question who grows up north. I don't know about Ontario, but if you are going to go from indoor to outdoor near the end of the cycle, I would make sure especially in Ontario that they receive at least the same amount of lumens as they were receiving inside. If you have been growing them in light for more hours than they receive outside, your plants will start to vegetate. Keep your hours and lumens in line and u should be okay. I think the temperature change barring a frost will be of less concern than light availability.
Good luck

I like the medical patient coming to get them tactic. btw how the fuck did he find out about your plants???? I hope that you didnt tell him...or else your a fuckin idiot that was just asking to have your plants taken away from you. Not trying to sound harsh but thats life man. good luck. I hope he lets you keep them til they are done.
