Default my lower leafs arnt getting light

ive starting using a 600w hps. these 2 plants were outside then i put them under the hps.

the light doesnt reach the lower part of the plant bcoz all the leafs are blocking the light at the top. the buds are looking much bigger on the top, is there anyway i can get more light to the lower leafs? cut a few leafs off the top? i dont really wanna LST becoz i tried it last time and messed up my plants.

CFL's work and are cheep, if you use tube florescent they don't stick out as much and it is possible to put the hot ballast away from the plants. Also a few of those $150 50w high power led panels would work and would not burn your plants if they touched them.

Thats the first thing I though of, trimming. You want the areas getting the most light to have access to the energy that lower limbs and leaves use trying to get to light they don't currently have and are trying to get to.

It's a little late for trimming my friend, but...

How high are you running a 600w light away from the plants to get such spindly stretchy long growth? Show a better pic of the whole things and the light please.

So many people try to grow bushy little indica's with lots of bud sites close together but it's nice you've gone the opposite direction and instead are showing people how to grow impressively long but barren stalks that would rival industrial hemp. Was that supposed to be an indica? Who'd you get the seeds from?

I'll tell you how to fix it (if I can, if it's possible now) if you show us a better pic of the whole plants and the light, but when the harvest is done will you agree to show us how to weave some chairs from all those stalks in return?

Maybe you got the wrong seeds though, all kidding aside...

eh? these plants are 1) Ata tundra(indica) 2) Trance(purple strain,sativa dominant)

they were vegged under cfls, then they didnt flower with the cfls. had alot of trouble with them. they finally went outside and then under the 600w. check out my grow journal for more info.

when i harvest them, will i show u how to weave chairs? i dunno what that means, lol.

heres a bit of a better pic, this was awhile ago though, they are bigger and have more buds on them now.
