what if your plant was suffering from spider mites. would you harvest early or try to solve the problem?

I've been growing since I was about 15, this is something new I'm trying..
I've already harvested the Cola & smoked a sample, great high, & i'm going to let the bottom buds mature some more, will more TCH be in these bud than if I didnt cut the cola??
