When you cure buds does the colour and smell change?

Somewhat. The smell goes from chlorophyl plant smell back to kinda what it smelled like growing. I have a lemon skunk that smelled incredibly lemony..cut it down..curing it.,.about 2 weeks init lost its veggy smell and I noticed the lemon scent coming back, as well as the buds getting a bit richer yet darker in color. Guess it depends on the strain, though.
