so i just got my roll today and i put it up already but i just noticed that the 2 sides of the film is different...
one side is shinnier than the other..
is there only one side that reflects light..or will both do or does one side do it better???

shiny side but you have to make sure its nice and flat and not crinkled

if its the shiny white on one side and the black side on the other isnt it obvious? the black side like ive seen should be used to prevent mold or bacteria build up
