you also suggest that the plant knows which way is up cause of the sun, but if that was the case then that would be suspended at night time, and you can experiment with hours old sprouts in darkness and see the same results.

its hydrodynamics and about drawing water upwards, which gets screwed up with the plants are not upright. like placing your thumb over the top of a straw and pulling it up out of a glass of water bringing the water inside the straw with it, but that water flows back out if you turn the straw far enough from vertical to horizontal.

hi gang, just a note before bed, my 2 g grows are now running well i can say!
the second one is now a full time grow w/ a mix of many different kinds & ages.
