Turn Shwag into HAsh easy method/

So, let's say you got a large quantity( an oz or more) of some shwag weed and it's potency does not satisfy you in the least. Furthermore, you have read all these interesting methods of making hash but they all require expensive material? Well here's a method I invented(inspired by some internet surfing), it works great and you will only need household items:
-Shwag( grinded, stems and seeds removed)
-Panty Hose (your wife must have one of these)
-A jar ( size depending on the quantity of herb you will be using)
- a rubber band and a card to collect all the pollen.
-A normal kitchen sieve

Procedure (I will add pictures of this as soon as i can):
1-Add the ground herb to the jar, filling the jar to half or less.
2-Fit the panty house on top so that it covers the jar , to do this you must lightly stretch the panty hose but not too much, the more you stretch the bigger the holes and you will end up with more hash of a lesser quality, so try this a few times, until you find a stretch that pleases you
3-fix the panty hose with a rubberband.
4- Now comes the fun part, turn over the panty-hosed jar on a slippery clear and smooth surface (like a piece of flat porcelain or mirror) and SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE! You will see small particles (f known as pollen or kief) starting to drop onto the surface(make sure the surface is large enough cus this stuff will spread everywhere).
5-When you see a fair amount has been collected, gather it together with a card you should end up with a golden or slightly mustard colored powder. If it is green this means that you stretched your panty hose too much, and you have a less pure form of kief.
6-Repeat this process a few times shaking vigorously until there seems to be no more powder falling, it's hard work, but consider it as a healthy exercise.
7-when you have obtained the desired amount of kief simply sieve the whole thing through a kitchen strainer to get rid of any impurities (hairs, boogers etc..)
Well that is about it, you may now compress your kief to get a solid chunk of hash using the method posted by major toke or just sprinkle some of that magic powder on your joints or pack a bowl with it: have fun.

one more thing : you may be wondering what to do with the remaining shwag in the jar, this stuff will not be very potent at all if you have done a good job, but you can use it to make some great cannabutter and/or hash oil using one of the methods posted on this website.

its a method that works for sure but the hash you get with pantyhose is usually greenish which means "poor" since not to pure. bubble bags for sure can give you a better quality of hash but are also far more expensive then your set up.

i think it was mogie that once came up with the tip to look at dollar stores for nylon printing screens, they cost there less then a good pantie and will do for sure a lot better

Ive heard of nylon screens green, but theyre sometimes hard to get, I just wanted to post a method that was easy fast and would need nothing more than objects you have lying around in your house.Also What I like about the panty hose is the fact that you can adjust the size of the holes by stretching thus deciding the purity/quantity of hash you want. I got good results by using a thick panty hose and the hash did not turn out too ''greenish'' ...

see matias, the problem is panties aren't make as seving screens, technicly the made frome the same materials but woving is done diverent. panties are wove to stretch which sreens aren't alowed to by there design. if you just move on to thicker panties to limit stretching you running into the problem of more surface on which the tricomes gone stick to like super glue and you can get them off to well anymore. those screens are used for printing, so most art supply stores will carry them, i even seen them at walmart once. it is just about asking a bit and if someone wants to have a reason just give them the surprised expression and "printing - i gone be like andy soon

High Everybody, I just wanna show the people who's harvest comes at a time when they can't afford other methods,(like myself) the cheap way that I make a little hash from the trimmings I'd ordinarily throw out. So here goes.

First pic is of the ingredients you'll need

1 - 32oz clean mayonnaise jar.

2 - The coldest water that you can get (I take cups filled w/ water & put
them in the freezer 30 minutes before I start)

3 - 1 coffee filter basket w/ a coffee filter in the basket

4 - Roughly 1/8 - 1/4 oz. trim (Believe me that's all that will fit in the jar)

5 - (Not shown - too stoned) - a tablespoon for spooning out the weed.

Step 2
Fill the jar about 2 inches from the top with the water (I always throw in 3-4 ice cubes - helps keep the water cold & adds a little abrasiveness to the trim.)
Step 3
Fill the remaining space in the jar with your trimmings.

Step 4
Shake violently for 30 minutes.

Step 5
Let it Settle For 30 Minutes, roll & smoke a nice big spliff from the buds this trim was from to pass time.

Step 6
30 minutes Later the waters not as cloudy and you can see the trichromes on the bottom.

Step 7
Open the jar & use your tablespoon to remove all of the weed (this is what takes the time but GET IT ALL OUT).

Step 8
After weed is removed it may look like crap but boy will it bring you happiness.

Step 9
Hold the coffee filter basket in one hand and slowly pour the water into the filter basket.

Step 10
Remove the remains from the coffee filter and leave untill dry. An inexpensive and easy way to get a nice couple of hits from some otherwise trash for yourself & a friend. After all that's what stoners are all about,sharing.

coffee filter, nice one, but what about plant material that will be still in there? did you filter this off as well somehow?

does it make hash that is good enough quality and potency to make hash brownies or cannacookies or other foods or baked things that need hash to be made
