Question (WATERING) Please Help

After germination in cloning hot farm to a 2 or 3 gallon growing bag how much and often do I water the plants. I am going to run 400watt in a 2*4*6'8 closet with 3 plants. Do I water till water reaches the drain pan, and do I do it everyday??? Please Respond

Water and allow soil to dry 3 inches deep before the next watering. When you water, give it water until water begins to leak from the bottom.

if your not to sure you cant buy moist meters cheap as dirt at any garden shop or supermarket now days which will tell you when your soil is dry usually these come with ph meters attached also which is handy!

i've been told moist meters aren't worth it, i've been just waiting until the soil looks pretty dry dig my finger or a spade down a couple inches and watering until it comes out the bottom, then maybe waiting 1/2 hour and watering a little bit more to make sure the top layer gets a lot of water, but you don't want standing water in the bottom tray for too long it means you've overwatered
