I just started trying to grow a few days ago. Got everything i need the right equipment and shit like that. Thiers jus one thing im unclear on. I heard that the plants have to stay very warm. How warm do they have to to grow and be healthy.

Make sure you have a fan blowing directly between lights and plants.

Would like a fan from a computer work if i mount it. But if worried bout the heat produced from the light cuz im not that worried. The light doesnt put out that much heat but its good enough for plant growing. I dont know exzactly how many watts or anything but its a fixure with a base thats made for plant growing and its on a timer. It stays on for 12 hours and then off for 12. But i really jus need to get a thermonter so i know how hot it hets where the plants are.

You want the lights on for 18 hours. Off for six. Only 12 on 12 off when you're flowering! the fan will strengthen your stems. If the light is too far away your plants will stretch and fall over. It's not about heat it's about light, heat is the by-product that needs to be gotten rid of. If you're not worrying about heat then you haven't got enough light.
