Let us discuss

Hey All -
Just wondering what ya'll think? If you had to sacrifice, would you cut light availability to get your potted outdoors plant out of the rain?
I've two I grew outdoors in a single pot to keep an indoor grow alive while taking a month off from my grow.
They started budding August 24th. They're on the back porch, where they get a lot of bright, mostly indirect light. I think I over-watered them once this summer.
Right after I watered last, it started raining, as still is. Now I can slide this plant under a table to get it out of the water flow, but that'll really lessen the light the top of the plant gets.
The soil drains real good and dries out daily when it's hot.
What would you do?

I'd leave em, but try to cut the water they get from the rain somehow.

So I simply need a sky-hook to hold something over the planter far enough away that it won't allow more rain to fall into the planter while allowing maximum light?

lol, I was thinking to cut a tarp into circles and put those over the pot.
water stays out, light gets to the plant

Hey Book . . . after wondering why I hadn't simply done what you suggested, I realized I have way too many ties in the way. It was buggin' me why I hadn't thought of that, but I probably subconsciously had?

There are training ties anchored to the planter, lots of them.
