This morning when I woke up I immediately went to my litte babies and made sure they were O.K. It was the first thing on my mind! I just wanted to make sure I didn't have to adjust the lights or if anything happened while I was asleep. Over the past few months of learning and researching, I have found growing to be quite enjoyable. It seems that even when I am out to eat I am always looking at light bulbs and saying, "Hey, these would work pretty well for vegging." I also look at objects and picture it being a grow box. It seems that growing and finding new ways to grow is always in the back of my head lol. I don't think it is a bad thing. I think that it is helping me to be more creative and over these past couple months I have learned more about lighting, nutrients, photosynthesis, humidity, trichomes, plant definincies, temperatures, spectrums, then I could ever dream of. I just thought I would share this with everyone and see if anyone does sort of the same thing in some of their idle time.

A lot of this was thanks to this very forum. If used correctly, you learn more then you ever thought you could. I'm sure a lot of newbies (including myself) thought you just threw a light on some plants and WALA!!! YOU GOT POT! Unfortunely that is not the case (unless you're lucky lol) and you have to go about learning and trying new techniques. I just wanted to extend my thanks to all of you who have helped me over these past few months so that I can now help others. You guys/girls all ROCK!!

Pauli, I agree with everything you posted. I am the same way! I think I was obsessed, quite honestly. Until I made my trip and was away from the plants for 5 days. That helped. Now I still think of them when I am not home but not as much. I'm still checking in on this site a couple times an hour, though, so I'm not cured yet. LOL.

I find also that when i am out i look at other plants and look at their growth pattern and figure out males n females. Its a sign of getting older, were into gardening of sorts.

Yeah I know what you mean, My experience is a roller coaster ride, started with some cfls in the tub, guess got greedy and planted too many (12), now I'm in a walk in closed with 9 and an hps and runing out of room and light like you wouldnt belive, and yes I'm scoping out street lights like a krazy person, it takes allmost all the will power I have not to attempt to steal em...I mean they are right there and I need em so so bad!!! DOWN BOY, DOWN!

Yep feel the same way. I am a first time grower (into week 4/5) and I keep having to go and see them but it is worse because of some discoloration on the leaves. Keep worrying and checking to see if they are better than they were 5 minutes ago lol

Yes! So many comments in here ringing true for me. I went home for easter weekend, leaving my girls for 3 days. I was teriified something had happened to them, and I was showing photos to my friend (don't worry, completely trustworthy) like a new mum showing baby pics! It's great, but I need to get it under control so I can so other stuff- my girlfriend gets jealous!
