6500K daylight bulbs = light blue packaging. I'm using these to veg, 23 watts 1600 Lumens

2700K bulbs = light green packaging. Use these to flower, I don't have the package handy and I'm not taking my bulbs out right now to look.

Check Wal-mart, they've got tons of them around with all this back to college crap going on. They're only like 7 bucks or so for a 2 pack.

I had a hard time with this bulb thing too, ended up standing around the store for about a half hour reading packages until I got it figured out. If all else fails try that approach.

its not how many kelvins... kelvin is a color temperature... you want a high K for vegging 6500k and a low for flowering (2700k).. a lot of the new cfl's from normal stores dont have the kelvin rating on it but sometimes they will say things like cool blue, soft white, daylight... which directly relate to the color temp. do some research and find out the related kelvin

Mine were out and I moved them in and they are growing a lot faster now. I think they days getting so short out there was stunting their growth.
