Ok yesterday everything was good I woke up about 1 hour ago to find the following problems.
1) 2 seedlings bent over. One still had the seed casing on her so I think she is a total loss.
2) one had some droping leaves. Not to bad but noticible.
I think the one without the casing will recover. The other not to hopeful on. And the droping leave one I haven't a clue. I think it was underwatering and I watered with PHed water and had a ppm of 50. What do you all think. Also starting to get some roots coming thru at bottom of plugs... Time to transplant? If so got a question about using hydroton. How long do I need to soak them and how to soak them? I am in need of urgent advice here PLEASE HELP PLEASE!!!
Ok Think this one was just a close call. I came home from work on lunch and they are doing ok. 1 still having a drooping leave complex. but they are all streight up again. Do I need to transplant still though. There are roots coming out of the cubes but they are REAL small. I am 50/50 on this. This is day 7 here. What do you all think?
Are the little stems turning brown? Damping off is a fungus that kills seedlings and can be prevented by sterilizing your medium and making sure they do not stay too wet in this initial stage.
