Food Coloring Experiment

Thanks to FDD2BLK for his thread about this.

I took 3 small buds clippings and put one in Purple, Yellow, and Teal.

The results shall be interesting.

Here are pics of them in their colors:

SO WHEN ARE YOU GONNA GIVE THE RESULTS TO THIS FOOD COLORING EXPERIMENT YOU GOT GOING ON BTT?

BY THE WAY WHAT KIND OF COLOR IS TEAL?

damn U shoulda used kool-aid..I wanted to know if it would give it that color and smell..

should be changing by now.

in theory I guess this should work..we used to do this in school with flowers and the flower would turn colors..technically the bud is called a flower..so i dont see why this wouldnt work..hopefully you post some results soon

shit I wonder what flavor would taste the best? I would have to make my own blend that I usually make when I drink kool-aid!

I know..that would be something if it worked..I was told that these methods only work with a hydro grow though, so I wanna see what will come of btt's experiment..

btt is such a great guy isnt he? I mean he hasnt even sampled this stuff yet, and yet he's willing to use a couple buds for this experiment..I give U props, I admire that in U btt

this is going to turn out chronic. im curious to see this really. This might be worth trying for sure.

The results are in! At first I mixed up the water according to the box to make the certain colors. After talking to FDD2BLK about it, he used half a bottle. At first I did not see any change. I decided to change the water and make it A LOT stronger.

Not too much change, but a change nonetheless.

I plan to do this again and hope for better results. I am also thinking about doing each plant in a different color when I harvest so I will have a way to differentiate each plant when dried and cured.

makes sense..but you might have to leave them in there a little bit longer..im suprised you got those results in only 24hrs..it usually took us anywhere from 24-72 hrs to see the full effect.any longer and the plant starts to wither..

nice job nonethe less..I like the teal one the best, I didnt really see much of a difference in the orange, and the urple actually looks like a purple strain..I'd be kinda scared to smoke that one..lol

mine took 24 hours but it was almost pure food coloring.

Yea, one of them started to wither so I took them out and they are now drying. Next time I will do it right.

Yes, FDD is the man...

i'm scared to smoke it.

Use spray paint it changes them instantly.Just shake the can real good and hang the bud on a string. Press the button and you should see the color change almost immediately.Good smokin. Enjoy
