Arrow white walls vs. aluminum foil

Ive heard from a few people that white walls are okay for growing because of the color being reflective.

Ive also know that foil isnt the BEST reflective source.

But I dont really have any other options besides those two, so I was wondering what you would consider to be better....any help is appreciated

well, i have been using foil for the past 2-3 months since Ive started, and I havent had too much of that problem. Other then the leaves on the very bottom, i have good greenery. But I am moving them into a room about twice the size of the one they are in right now, so I was wondering which would be a better reflective surface...because I wont be able to up my lighting immediately (which I dont think is gonna be that big of a deal)

As Korvette mentioned the foil can create hot spots, however I use it. This is my first grow...I wanted to get started...had 2 rolls of (75') so I lined the closet up to about neck high..I am 6'1".

As soon as I can harvest I plan on 2 coats of flat white ceiling paint for the walls and ceiling.

Appreciate your help Korvette on that other thread..regarding some minor pruning.
