I have a unique opportunity to purchase a used Bloombox for $1000.00. The owner states it works great and has no scratches. I would also need to pickup the unit which is 7 hours driving away.

Do you think the Bloombox is worth the trouble considering a new unit is approx. $3200.00?

Well think about how much gas you will buy. Seven hours each way plus add in breaks and picking it up you have a pretty long fucking day so you may need to buy a room. Also meals. It all shit ads up.

Hey everyone, well road trip it is. I just got the approval from the boss and I'll be picking it up soon. I figure another 200.00 - 300.00 with gas, tolls and food.

Bloombox - 1000.00
Expenses - 300.00
Fresh Herb - Priceless
There are some things that money can't buy,

My thoughts:
Your going to have buyers remorse on the drive home or shortly after getting it home and setting up.
I think your 1,300 would be better spent an a DIY setup or growroom.

Have you tried talking them down on price? Maybe offering them 700? A used item is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Anyway,
If you get it, I hope it is everything you hope it will be.
