I have these damn little nat bugs eating the soil and just driving me nuts! i go to water them and there they are! I dusted them with diaz. They wont DIE! What to do?

they are fungus gnats. you need to tree with an insecticide that is active in the soil. they lay their eggs there. the larvae hatch and eat the roots. go to the local home improvement store to find something that you apply to the soil to spcifically control gnats. i am a professional grower and use things that aren't available to the average homeowner.

I just spray a little Safers on top and work it in the first half inch or so. Might try spreading a layer of sand on top.

stop overwatering your plants. Let the soil completely dry in between waterings.
