Hey everyone just bored at the moment so I thought I'd take some pictures of my 2 pots full of Sweet Basil. Its currently growing in my Grow Box till I go pick up my next set of seeds !!

These lovely ladies were a bit leafier till one of my cats decided they needed basil breath yesterday. Luckily she left the stem alone so I'm confident it'll reveg.

This one is also missing some random leaves but thats because I used them to cook with last night ! Nothing, and I do mean nothing taste better than FRESH.. ANYTHING

Thanks !! Dfunk. Much appreciated. I have a quick question if anyone could answer. Do you guys that are growing veggies indoors have light cycles or leave it 24hr or whats best ? I had read that Basil needs no more than 14hrs of light to grow. But Will 24 hrs hurt it ? or help it ? or neither ?

right now im growing cukes, tomatoes, basil, parsley, and a variety of pepper plant indoors, i have them all on 18/6 and im gettin blooms on my tomatoes and pepper plants, and everything else is growin good at the moments

Looks like some fine Basil.

I would keep them at 18/6 or 16/8... and let them believe they are in a never ending summer =]

how many cfls are you using to grow inside? i have been thinking about growing spinach indoors now for a while. i just didn't know what light levels where needed.

Thanks for all the replies everyone, so far they've actually been on 24hrs cycle in with my seedlings of another type. In about another week they'll be switched to 18/6 and I'll post another update then. However as of right now the plants have all grown like wild fire its great ! Pics in about a week
