I have 7 tomato plants and they are all suffering! All the tomatoes have holes in them and at first I thought it was caterpillars.... although I never saw on any of the plants. Today I BUSTED the culprits.... came downstairs.... went to the back door and saw a bunch of birds sitting on the branches pecking away at the tomatoes... THOSE BASTARDS!!!!

Next year I'm going to build a screened in area to keep the little bastards out! Luckily they don't seem to like my bell pepper plants so at least I'm getting some peppers.

damn that sucks, I would have been pissed....fortunately the pests seem to leave me alone so far, knock on wood.....LOL.......good luck hope you still get some kind of harvest....

Here's my tomato plants(Rutgers). I bought the seeds around 5 years ago and was very surprised that they germed. Notice anything special in the last pic?
