Default English Ivy: any help would be appreciated

Hello friends, I've spent the winter growing a beautiful English ivy...so healthy and vigorous.
My questions are:
1) when can I transplant it outside? (Wisconsin)
2) how do I train it up the brick wall?

Anything after May 11th is safe but it's a pretty hardy plant. So put it outside now. As for the brick wall it should do it all by itself Or get a trellis.
