I start tomatoes indoors under 24 hour light cycle.
Put them outdoors after all danger of frost in your area.
When transplanting bury the stem deeply (past the first set of leaves) to provide stout thick main stem after the transplant to containers or in ground.
Depending on the strain(s) you choose you will see the fruits forming shortly after you see the little flower blooms. If there are deer in you area, it is best to fence the plants in.
Tomatoes are super easy and fun to grow.
