what kinda tree would you like to be?

I think it was Barbra Walters that asked Kate Hepburn in an interview once "if you were a tree what kind would you be"?
Kate said she would like to be an OAK. strong and stable. a symbol of strength. I think i personally think i would like to be a bonsaied cherry. old gnarly bark...the look of death and old age. almost cancer-like. and then once a year push out astoundingly beautiful cherry blossoms. the contrast between the old bark and the new life of the blossoms is a sight to behold. well that's my choice,...what's yours?

Royal Poinciana! I have a huge one in my yard that I named "Mama Poinciana". I also have 4 of her babies that are nearly 20 feet tall after 5 years from seed. It is one of the world's most beautiful trees. It provides deep shade in the summer and in the spring it has fabulous red/orange/yellow orchid like flowers.

me too but only the yellow flesh ones. wish the season of bloom was longer though cuz i can't get enough. they're like a drug.

u gotta be f'in kiddin me right? there are yellow flesh peaches which are better than sex and white flesh ones which i think are just ok. georgia peaches are yellow flesh. NJ peaches too. they are yellowish and reddish on the outside. i'm sure you've had em you prolly just dont know it. sooo sweet. omg. i need one right NOW..lolz
