fennel

I've read that fennel and dill should not be planted together because of cross-pollination....The plants are very similar to each other. I haven't read anything about it polinateing cannabis....I have liitle weed growing experience, really....

Yeah that's what I've read as well. I don't know what other plants it would effect and doubt cannabis would be but.. i figured it was worth asking lol. Would be crazy to end up with some kind of weird hybrid haha

I just noticed if you cross fennel with dill you would still get "fenill"

I happen to know this one....I planted fennel right next to my 7 1/2 foot sativa and now she has a licorice smell.....I love licorice so this is woorking out...also I had no stunting of growth what-so-ever..............Mine are flowering as we speak....I will let you know if it has a licorice flavor after harvest.... ☮

lol that's awesome. I wouldn't be opposed to licorice tasting bud if it doesnt hurt potency. haha.

When do you harvest Fennel? it's my first time and its beginning to flower, do I let it flower until the base is 3-5 inches?

no first hand exp but i cant see the two species crossing it wouldnt make sense. i do know dill in my veg garden seems to be resistant to most bugs and animals. so mb it might be an advantage?

try recon if u have a chance to get it... after 65 days the flowers go from a fruity floral smell to a rank pungent black licorice smell... totally intoxication..
