sunflower competition, anyone? plus a helpful chart

i am 6' tall (and a few inches) and this is the view i have of my sunflowers...



we harvested a couple heads already and cooked them up for the neighbors. best way to do them is to put them in a pot of salt water and boil until the salt water is all gone. it will soak into the seeds and give them that delicious taste inside and out.

after that, just dry them off and throw them on a tray and roast like pumpkin seeds. delicious!
