Default Making my Own Potting Soil

Hi all I have a question for you guys and girls.

I wanna get into making my own custom potting soil for growing my herbs, fruits and veggies in for indoor use. I was wondering if anyone has any list of stuff that I need to make my own.

Here's the problem that I have.
1 - I don't have a composer so compost isn't an option to cut the cost and I don't really wanna try to go around looking for it.

Here's what I was looking for as for the formulas
    1 - Soilless mix
2 - Mix using Seedling soil
3 - Organic Soil (if I can find all the stuff for it)

Also a list of stuff of what kind of stuff I can add to the soil to add nutes to the soil its self with out adding plant food and such to it. Pretty much soil that has nutes in it like the per-bagged stuff that has nutes in it already.

    questions to that mix

1 - For the soiless mix can you give me a list of stuff that is classified as soiless?
2 - I can't get fox farm around here is there some thing that I can use in place of it?
3 - If I can't get worm castings what can I use in place of it?
4 - For the coffee grounds do they have to be unused or is it used coffee grounds?
5 - What is epsoma garden tone and what can I use in-place of this if i can't get this?

    I like it simple

    -1part Peat moss
    -1part inert top soil
    -1part compost

I also add pea gravel(non limestone) for a cheap way to increasing drainage

i like ur mix too. but i add lime and a few other things...
    Peat/Lite base
Nitrogen via Composted Cow Manure, Worm Castings, Leaf Compost...the list goes on. it's dark and smells beautuful. you know it when you smell it.
I add horticultural grade charcoal. Then I add the minerals. Azomite if nothing else. Lime. Rock Phosphate, Greensand and rock 0-0-50. Nuttin ever burns and I don't wait and cook either. I just replaced the Blood Meal with another form of slow release N. EZPZ.

Thanks I think I will go with this but use seedling soil and mess around with it to see if I find some thing that works well.

What can I put into the soil that helps keep the PH of the soil balanced?

This is my mix and it works great I've always had great results. I'm always trying to improve it. Here's what I do.
    1. One 1.5 cu ft of Fox Farm ocean soil. you only need 3/4's of the bag. Save the last 1/4 for later.
    2. One bag of light warrior only use half the bag.
    3. Roots Organic Cocofiber. You only use half the bag.
    4. 8 cups of perlite.
    5. 3 cups earth worm castings.

I mix all of them together in a baby pool. Mix really well!!

it's a simple mix It holds nutes better and using fox farm alone has stuff you really don't need and to much of some stuff you do. I've come up with other mixes but this one is my basic It works great.

For my outdoor veggies (potting mix base) I use compost, either store bought (both manure and mushroom composts mixed) or home-made. Throw In half a bag of natural mulch, dolomite lime, both bone and blood meal, peat , coffee grounds, fresh local forest soil, and perlite.

For my potted herbs Ill bump the peat, mulch, and perlite up a bit for better drainage.
Everything said and posted by me is fake and for entertainment only.
