003.jpg005.jpg006.jpg009.jpglet's try this again. 4 raised beds and a claw foot tub, this year joined by a 4x6 vertical bed, and coffee sacks. came across a guy with 6cu yards of spent mushroom media, picked up 200 lbs of chicken shit and other assorted compostables for free from tea and coffee house, kitchen scraps, etc. i have a large worm bin. i make my own mix for all my gardens. got some shade cloth for free and greens and lettuce are going under it. vertical bed will get lettuce, herbs, and marigolds. last pic is of test kale plant in vert bed; so far, so good.002.jpg003.jpgmy decomposer (the green thing) is full of red wigglers, night crawlers, and sow bugs. i compost waste, feed it to my bugs, then feed it to my bacteria, who then feed my plants.

thank you all.......the papaver are coming up nicely; pics tomorrow, or later. planted several hundred more upstate at my camp. we are saving our collards for the fall; ran out of room. poppies or more greens......the choice was easy.

So scrog, when those flower what, this year or next, do you just harvest the large overies and scratch them to get the resin out? And how do you ingest it? Is it good for pain management?
they'll be done in July, or so. i scratch and scrape, and smoke that, and then make tea from pods and straw. an excellent pain relief. i just grow enough for a few parties. a yearly treat. hope to have some Strawberry Cough and Orange Kush to make chillum bowls with my dope. just hit the screen yesterday. training time.

dropped off some wood at camp, 3 1/2 hours NW of my home. opening day of trout is next month, and i may be up there. i don't like being cold. i have blackberries up there, and i want to add some hazelnuts, and elderberries. i tried to establish them a cpl of years ago, but the deer are hungry, and like saplings.
