im going home for vacation in feb when i get back im just gonna order like 10 different syringes and im gonna try a bunch of methods of growing. Ill probably start like 50 jars

hey pullin weeds, i was looking at spores101 and i seem to be confused. why is it that you can only select Canada as the country and one of their provinces. I need the spores to come to the states. how do i do that, should i just include my address in the comments at the end of the forms? or since i might pay with money order since cash isnt traceable, should i just include my address when i mail them that.

I seem to remember similar problems with their website. if you can't straighten it out, yeah just write it in the comments. I think I handled it all via email.

alright ill try that thanks. i think im going to grow my first set of spores and just post a few pictures every once and a while, but once i get my method down ill start a grow journal. i really plan to try and perfect a method and get a good growing system down

ok i think i figured it out guys. i just opened my jars after no growth for 3 weeks. So apparently my seeds in 3 of my jars where all but dry. It looked like there was moisture in there but i guess not. ill have to soak them longer next time and I think i remember stopping boiling them when they expanded to the top of my pot it must have needed longer . I got 1 syringe left im gonna start 8 jars and make sure i get it right this time.

DONT BOIL!!!!!!!!! rise heat till you see steam comming up when you stir, then lower to simmer!!!! if you boiul water, throw seeds away. You killed the nutrional value of the seeds. one more time:

-pour seeds into pot.
-fill with water
-massage and toss seeds
-tilt pot or use fish net to remove "floaters"
-dump into strainer, and rinse
-repeat above till the water in pot is clear, and all crap is washed off seeds
-when its clear, cover pot 24 hours
-pour in strainer and let sit for 1 hour with paper towel on top to keep top seeds from drying out
-fill jars 1/2 way and cover with aluminum foil, and put on lid UPSIDE DOWN(rubber side up)
-put on ring and pressure cook at 30PSi for 1 hour
-turn off stove top and let sit over night, or min 12 hours
-use glovebox, or STERILIZE a bathroom or small clost with oust and/or bleach H20 blend.
-innoculate jars and then cover with coffee filer, and use rubber band to hold tight
-incubate

this will be all you need to know. Ther rest after you get this far you can read on to not overload your brain!

wow im a dumbass... The heat was definitally the problem. I thought i had it fixed and i was wrong it was still 93 so im gonna say it must have been over 100

hey guys,

been a long time since anyone has posted here. my shrooms are on the way, golden teachers, and before they are fully grown i was wondering if any of you have any input on a way to dry them.

some guides say to do it just with a fan, or the sun, but there are also food dehydrators. however i have not been able to find a dehydrator that doesnt use heat. any of u guys have any luck?
