growing poppies isn't illegal. People grow them all over the neighborhood in plain sight in small amounts. Not for illegal use, just for the pretty flowers.

any advice re: temperature or light preferences for the poppies? Mine are of the mccormick variety, and indoors. I must have spilled some seed or something because I keep finding them growing in my clones lol

I'll bet ive smoked a pound of opium over several decades & i never got hooked,strung out or even craved the stuff,opium used to be EVERYWHERE in the 1970's & very potent shit too.The shit that was on the streets then was strong enough where it would turn you into the village idiot,drooling all over your face & blew out on the sofa for an hour or two,happy to be destroyed too

i grew a small crop of them last summer and made some tea from about 10 dry heads... won't be doing that again! i just got chills thinking about the taste, seriously. but the reason i won't do it again is because it's so hard to dose right. i puked and slept for almost 2 days then felt like i had a bad hangover for another day. ruined my weekend and nearly died, etc..

be careful with this stuff if you play. but yeah, i'll be growing a few hundred again this year because they're so pretty.
