Outdoor hydroponic garden.

Here are some pics of our outdoor garden, all inspired by knowledge gained from growing weed

Still lots of improvements to be made and we are going to be expanding soon. Feeding with cheap powdered nutrients at an EC of 1.0 using an old bath as our res. Lettuce took 3 weeks to reach 'shop size' from seedlings (transplanted into the gutters from soil). For the medium we used stone that we swept up and collected from the sides of the road. It's basically what's left over from when the road was tarred and there are thousands and thousands of kilometers of it, all for free. Something like this could be built on a rooftop if there was no garden space.

Nice looking setup. I'm going to build an outdoor hydro setup this winter. Can you elaborate on your " cheap powdered nutrients at an EC of 1.0"? I don't really know what that means.

It's just a locally made product I get where I live, 500grams cost me (the equivalent to) 5usd and makes over 350 liters. No point me telling you what brand it is, unless you live in Africa.

Oh, EC stands for electronic conductivity, similar thing to ppm (parts per milliliter).
